Simplify Header
The header is not very useful and a little confusing for a first-time user (I missed the "browse by category" link).
I would add a "browse category" button-styled link to the left of the search field and move the search field a little to the right.

it would be great if the green check items sort to the top regardless of grade, then move down by gr
Status: completedThanks for the feedback. The "checks" and "Xes" do play a part in the score. Our advice is to sort by highest score, or use the filters on the upper right to hide products with a "hand" or an "x"

update your search parameters for "gluten"
I cannot have gluten or wheat and when searching, at least 2 of Bob's Red Mill *Gluten-Free* products turned up a zero. It said it was because they contained wheat and gluten when they certainly do not.

the seafood app by the moneterey bay aquarium is an incredible model which we use every time we shop. something like that.

change home page once i've created a profile
i find it a little confusing that even though i've already created a profile, when i go back to the home page it still is the same as it was before i created my profile. i expected it to at least recognize me by my profile (18-49 yr old male)… more

Option to save your customized list(s) to your profile

Option to print out list
It would be awesome to be able to check items, and then at the end be able to print out a list that we will be able to take to the grocery store:)

Please add filters to the search
When I search I would like to be able to filter out results that contain my "don't wants" Right now I haven't been able to find a way to do that.
Status: completedYou'll find the word "Hide" followed by the "X" and "Hand" icons in the top right corner of your search results once you've created a profile. Clicking on the "X" icon will filter out "don't wants" and clicking on the "Hand" icon will filter out "things you shouldn't have" from your current search.
Great to hear that search filters are important to you. I'm marking this as "completed", but we'd still love to hear what you think and how we can improve the feature for you.

that in the about us we may want to specify that the site is free to consumers.
e.g., "ShopWell is a *free* food information site that grades..."

not label people over 50 as "seniors". Maybe just say "Adult 50+" or something like that.
